Leleka Flute – wood and metal, chromatic, soprano

Leleka Flute – a wind musical instrument, soprano, sectional, chromatic, with the ability to tune the whistle. A combination of wood and metal in a single wind instrument.
The instrument is crafted in the national Ukrainian tradition with the timbre characteristic of a wooden flute at the classic voice hole setting.
The mouthpiece is made of wood with a composite fipple and internal components that prevent it from becoming waterlogged and subsequently damaged by saliva or moisture. The fingering pipe is available in four options: steel, stainless steel, copper, or brass. It can have 6, 8, or 10 holes (10 is standard).
The Leleka is sectional and easy to clean, and the pipe is one piece with the voice hole tooth — by shifting it, you tune the whistle sound. The mouthpiece is beveled with the whistle on top. It plays three octaves, is quite loud, blows easily, and has a medium interval between notes.
