Dzhura sopilka – soprano, chromatic Ukrainian flute + kazoo (2in1)

Dzhura flute – a combination of a chromatic flute and a kazoo in one musical instrument. It has two independent channels for playing. The flute fingering has a chromatic scale with tonic C, 10 holes, playing in two octaves. The kazoo is soprano, like the flute, with membrane tuning. The mouthpiece is sectional and can be replaced. The membranes are made of thin polyethylene, with two spare ones included. This instrument is similar to a Zholomiya (Double Flute), but here instead of a second pipe you have a kazoo, and the playing principle differs — you need to not only blow but also hum for the kazoo to sound.
The instrument is not sensitive to temperature changes and is not afraid of moisture. The mouthpiece is made of biopolymer, and the pipe is made of food-grade polypropylene.
