Deep Space Cajon – string drum with bass control

Deep Space Cajon – a classic percussion drum with bass control and a string system on the snare side. The horizontal string placement reduces unwanted overtones, giving more snare buzz in the upper part of the cajon while keeping the lower frequencies clean with a good punch.
Low frequencies are adjusted using a control located on the back panel (inside) of the drum. The back panel is removable when needed. The instrument is handmade from wood, the tapa is also wood (plywood), and the support system is 20mm, providing grip on the surface — you can confidently play while tilted back on the two rear legs. The box has a classic size, all edges are rounded, and design details can be adjusted.
If you need a snare tensioning mechanism for the strings, please specify this — it’s not included by default, it’s an option (see photo).
