Dreamcatcher – medium circle, three tassels

A dreamcatcher is a small woven web, a traditional Native American amulet that acts as a magical dream filter and melancholy disperser. According to beliefs, it protects the sleeper from dreams — both good and bad. Everything depends on the placement of the web, through which energy flows pass, becoming entangled in it and dissolving with the first rays of sunlight. If placed close to a person it blocks everything; if placed near windows or doors — it mainly blocks chaotic vibrations, which are the cause of unpleasant phenomena for a person. A dreamcatcher works continuously, not only while you sleep. Therefore, by filtering the frequencies of melancholy and apathy, it helps achieve harmony.

What the amulet consists of:

• Base (circle): Symbolizes a portal, the continuous life cycle
• Web: Catches various energies (egregors)
• Feathers: Symbolize lightness and sensitivity. Tassels for catching low vibrations of the environment
• Beads: So-called spiders that collect what has accumulated and become entangled in the dreamcatcher’s web

Materials and placement:
We make dreamcatchers exclusively from natural materials. Flexible branches (such as willow, pine, or bamboo fibers) are used for the hoop, natural threads (cotton or wool) for the web, and the decoration includes various wooden, ceramic, and stone beads, bird feathers, leaves, wax, and more. It is traditionally hung in the bedroom near windows, the entrance, or in the center of the room. If you want a very deep sleep, it can be placed beside the bed.
